New York Fashion Week Spring 2007: The Freak Show We Had Been Waiting For • Grey Ant

There's always someone. They can't just do a simple fashion show. No, they have to give us a little something extra just to throw us off guard.

September 14, 6 PM The Altman Building • Grey Ant
Img_1680_1 Grey Ant designer Grant Krajecki cited the film "Emmanuelle" and the back cover of Bette Midler's album "Songs For The New Depression" as inspirations for this show. the sexy '70's babes pictured above represent the entire collection. The rest of the show was taken up by the Hysterica Dance Team, who treated the crowd with two highly energetic performances. Some were amused and entertained. Others were certainly wondering why they didn't go to the Joanna Mastroianni show instead. The Shophound was wondering if the blonde dancer was going to be able to get through the performance and keep her costume from falling off. Trouper that she was, she retied her straps without missing a step.

Music: Screeechy techno
Swag: Popcorn and Fiji Water was all we rated
Celebrities: Downtown hipsters
