Gift Wrapping Ballerinas at Marc Jacobs

Marcjacobstutus_2 As we have said before, we wouldn't write so much about Marc Jacobs if he didn't keep giving us
SO
MUCH
MATERIAL.
We're not sure what to make of this latest development.
We applaud his offering giftwrapping at his Bleecker Street store, but we are somewhat bewildered by the attire that appears to have been assigned to his wrapping staff.
Are they being punished? Do they just like dressing that way, perhaps to add a Degas-like ambiance to the store?
Let's be clear. We love a ballerina tutu. Who doesn't? And we get the Swan Lake connection to his window next door, but it must be said, that unless one is a small child or performing pirouettes on a stage (or both), opaque white tights should never, ever be forced on anyone.
Especially if they are being seen in a store window.
From behind.
